Subject: Visit the Mobile Mechatronics Laboratory on tour - November 3rd

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I want you to be aware of a special touring display that will be on the CCC-Columbus campus on Thursday, November 3, 2011.

Central Community College, Drive for Five, and FESTO Corporation are working together to provide a showcase of industrial automation equipment for middle school and high school students and their teachers as well as individuals from business & industry.

FESTO Corporation, a partner of Central Community College’s Mechatronics program, will be bringing its Mobile Mechatronics Laboratory (MML) to Columbus on Thursday November 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The MML is on a climate-controlled, expandable semi-trailer which is equipped with some of the latest technology and equipment used for industrial automation. Middle schools and high schools will be able to schedule a tour of the Mobile Mechatronics Laboratory as well as the CCC drafting, electronics, machine tool, mechatronics, and welding programs.

Members of business and industry are also welcome and invited to view this equipment anytime during the day. The MML is on tour across the United States, and Columbus is fortunate to be one of the stops. You can learn more about the MML at www.festo.com/cms/en-us_us/10387.htm.
